My name is Michele Taylor, and I am the author of "223 Brush Street." It's been a very long and difficult journey getting this play produced, and there is further to go. I just want to say I have been e-mailing local theaters in the Detroit area and my classmates in the playwriting class I took about www.independentplaywrights.com I plan on continuing going out farther into Michigan from the Detroit area. If all of us try this, I'm sure we can get Independent Playwrights well know! I've gotten good feedback from those I have e-mailed, my professor at Oakland University was pleased to learn of our site. She will send the word to her contacts. Good luck to us all!!
