I recently discovered www.digitaltheatre.com. It offers recordings of shows shows from Britain While so far their collection of plays for online rental or downloading is pretty small, I think it's great that this is happening! The more performances saved to video the better and they do have some interesting looking productions, such as Much Ado About Nothing with David Tennant and Catherine Tate.

The only one of these I've downloaded so far is Much Ado, but I definitely want to acquire some more. I love getting a chance to see these productions from the States!

It would be great if the US theaters could come up with something like this. There some performances I would have loved to have seen.
How was Much Ado About Nothing by the way?

I really liked it pretty well, though I'm not nearly as much a fan of Tate as I am of Tennant. They play off each other very well, though. The banter, as always, is a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing Whedon's interpretation whenever I can get to it.

Yes, I'm also very much looking forward to seeing the Whedon interpretation, and particularly to see how it compares to the Kenneth Branagh version, which is easily my favorite film production of a Shakespeare.
